Is it possible to record only a selected set of data PID's so as to increase the refresh rate of the information stored, and minimize clutter in the recorded files?

Also can anyone tell me how I can reorganize the PID's to be played back from the datamanger so that I can have certain measured values directly above or below another selected value?
